Wiedemann Architects, LLC

Greg Wiedemann, AIA

Greg Wiedemann studied mathematics, fine art, urban planning and civil engineering before earning an architecture degree at Harvard. “Architecture brought all my interests together,” he says simply. Today, his nine-person firm brings more than 30 years of experience to bear on projects ranging from modest additions and renovations to new traditional and modern residences, apartments, penthouses and rural estates.

Wiedemann and his team eschew one signature style, instead emphasizing a timeless quality. “Our modern homes and seamless additions to older homes both achieve a timeless fit with their context,” Wiedemann says. He looks for site-specific solutions that celebrate the client’s aspirations. A breadth of knowledge; openness to the uniqueness of each commission; attention to detail; and commitment to sustainability are all hallmarks of the firm.

Wiedemann Architects, LLC, has won more than 100 design awards, including those from the American Institute of Architects. The firm’s work has been featured in such publications as Home & Design, Southern Living, Better Homes & Gardens, Remodeling, Period Homes and Chesapeake Home, as well as on HGTV and in Small Houses, published by Taunton Press.
